The exhibition “Meraviglie dalle Marche” opens today in Buenos Aires, at the National Museum of Decorative Arts, after being successfully hosted in Rome, at the Vatican, until May 3rd.
43 works coming from 15 museums located in the Marche Region express an overview on the history of the Italian religious iconography from the 14th century to the beginning of the 20th century.
It is the first time that paintings of Raffaello, Tiziano, Federico Barocci, Guercino, Rubens are displayed in Argentina; this is why the exhibition “Meraviglie dalle Marche” is goingo to be a unique cultural event.

Among the above mentioned works, the exhibition also hosts paintings of Carlo Crivelli (whom I personally adore), Lorenzo Lotto and Perugino.
