One village and a hundred stories: Marche, at home

Since 2005, twice a year, families from several Marche towns open their homes up to new friends for dinner, to exchange words and stories. Through the years, the family dinners have become the heart of a new travel experience, woven through a network of public administrations, businesses, accomodations, associations and citizens coordinated by tourism and culture professionals.
Travellers are hosted in selected B&Bs and led to the discovery of the territory by its own inhabitants: testimonials who can reveal hidden treasures and overlooked details. Itineraries end with a family dinner in the home of one of the many families who have joined the project: traditional recipes are thus a means to taste the most authentic culture of italian hospitality.

      • Hi! We were in Sirolo….we hit those fab beaches down below. We could not get over those beautiful beaches! We also noticed the crazy sunflower fields! (we were there in August, so sunflower season was over), but I am determined to get back there when they are in full bloom. What a lovely “off the beaten track” region! I will keep you posted if we go again….

        • Hi Diana,
yes the beaches in Sirolo area are very beautiful.

Around Pesaro – on the high coast between Pesaro and Gabicce – we have plenty of wild brooms which turn yellow at the end of May.

Taking a look at the panorama from the top of a hill down to the sea (where the sea meets the sky) with yellow wild brooms inbetween, it’s really a view.

I’ll post something on that when the right season comes!

Yes, please, keep me updated if you come again!
