I cannot believe it. One week ago I was writing about goals to achive in 2016 (being goal #1 ‘a diet that works’) and here I am today, posting the most calorific recipe I know.
But then again, wasn’t it Oscar Wilde who said that ‘coherence is the virtue of imbeciles’ (God bless Oscar Wilde… his words always come in handy!).
Anyway, if your are looking for a ‘guilt-free’ cake recipe, don’t go on reading… On the other hand, if you are looking for a highly ‘self-rewarding recipe’ (what the hell, the wise French say: il faut aussi vivre – ‘a man’s got to live’!), enjoy the following recipe that a former collegue of mine named Gabriella (God bless her and her wonderful recipes too) passed to me. However, before I go on, I owe an apology to Walter, our ‘Food & Wine’ guy, for stealing him the spotlight today!
INGREDIENTS:
- Flour: 150 gr
- Butter: 250 gr
- Chocolate bar: 500 gr (400 gr dark chocolate + 100 gr milk chocolate)
- Eggs: 5
- Sugar: 200 gr
Mix the eggs together with sugar and stir. Then pour the butter (you have to melt the butter in the waterbath first) and mix the ingredients. Pour the melted chocolate, add the flour in the end and stir again.
So, that’s it! You’re done! I said it was an easy recipe, didn’t I?
At this point you just have to pour the mix into the bakery cups and place the whole into your preheated oven.
Cook for about 8/10 minutes at 180° C.
Enjoy and, if you try this recipe, let me know how many of them you managed to eat in a row (my record is four but I had to skip dinner!)
These look so tasty!!
They really are! You try and tell me 😉
Oh my gosh, these look worth skipping dinner for.
You try and tell me 😉
